MWS Workdesk Terms of Use and End-User License Agreement

1. About MWS Workdesk
MWS Workdesk is operated by Metering and Weighing Specialists ("MWS"). It supports internal business activities, including customer and vendor records, work orders, labor and travel tracking, job attachments, and invoice preparation.
2. Permission to Use
MWS grants authorized users a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to use MWS Workdesk for approved business purposes, subject to these terms. Access is restricted; these terms do not grant access to anyone who has not been authorized.
3. Your Responsibilities
Use the app only for lawful, authorized work. Enter accurate information, protect your sign-in credentials, and upload only information you are permitted to use. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or upload malicious content.
4. QuickBooks Connection
Connecting QuickBooks requires authorization from someone permitted to grant access to the selected company. The current integration supports company verification and customer/vendor previews and imports.
Sandbox connections contain test data. Production connections require separate setup and authorization.
The current app does not create or send QuickBooks invoices or process payments. Invoice preparation within Workdesk does not mean an invoice has been created, sent, or paid in QuickBooks.
5. Review of Business Records
Authorized users must review customer details, work performed, quantities, rates, taxes, totals, and payment terms before using records for billing or other business decisions. Calculations and draft records do not replace professional judgment or accounting review.
6. Data and Privacy
You retain any rights you have in information you provide. You authorize MWS and the service providers supporting Workdesk to process that information as needed to operate the app. Information handling is described in the MWS Workdesk Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services
Workdesk depends on third-party hosting, sign-in, and integration services. Those services may have separate terms and may change, become unavailable, or require renewed authorization. Workdesk is operated by MWS and is not an Intuit product.
8. Availability and Limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Workdesk is provided "as is" and "as available," without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Keep appropriate copies of important business records. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Access Changes and Termination
MWS may restrict or discontinue access for unauthorized use, security concerns, or business reasons. Stopping use or disconnecting QuickBooks does not automatically delete previously saved business records. Contact MWS about access, export, or deletion requests.
10. Updates
MWS may revise these terms as the app changes. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Material changes affecting authorized users will be communicated before they take effect.
